In the forest, every creature is part of a larger story.
For Forest Essentials’ 2024 Festive Collection, Neeti Banerji explored the interconnected lives of India's forest inhabitants through a series of concept illustrations. From a crocodile lying still in the water to paw prints disappearing into the undergrowth, the work explored the delicate relationships that sustain a shared ecosystem.
Rather than focusing on individual creatures in isolation, the concept explored how each inhabitant is connected to its surroundings. The forest became a world of subtle clues, traces and encounters, where even the smallest details could hint at a larger story.
The illustrations brought together wildlife and visual storytelling to explore the intricate balance of nature.
